A consultation is currently running for people to comment on the list of green spaces which have been nominated as part of our South Gloucestershire Local Plan: Policies, Sites and Places Plan (PSP Plan).

Designating local green spaces which are considered important to local communities can provide special protection against development, but they can only be made through a Local or Neighbourhood Plan.

We have already identified the areas in South Gloucestershire which have been nominated as a local green space and we are not able to add any additional areas at this stage. The aim of the consultation is for residents and landowners to comment on the current list and you have until Thursday 30 July to provide any feedback.

Details about the consultation and the list of spaces proposed can be found online at www.southglos.gov.uk/lgsd15 and you can comment in the following ways:

By email: PlanningLDF@southglos.gov.uk
