Libraries are fabulous places for families and free to use. It does not matter if you have any late, lost or damaged children’s library books, you can still use your library, and will not have to pay any charges.

Celebrate the family traditions of Traveller communities with Libraries and the Traveller Education Service.

This event is part of Gypsy, Roma, Traveller History Month which takes place every June throughout the UK and celebrates the rich history and culture of Traveller communities.

Royal Crown Derby china is collected by a huge number of Romany and Traveller families and displayed in their home. Crown Derby china plates and other items are traditional gifts to mark birthdays, weddings and other celebrations and are often passed down through the family and can hold lots of memories of time spent together.

Come and design and make your own Crown Derby inspired paper plate and make your own special memories!
