South Gloucestershire Council Leader Cllr Matthew Riddle commented on the announcement: “I am very pleased to hear of the Mayor’s announcement on this worthwhile project, adding £0.5m to our contribution of £1.3m. This museum will provide a valuable experience for all across the region and indeed the whole country. I always welcome the opportunity to work with our partners in the West of England where there are projects that benefit us all.”
