Have your say at Area Forum meetings

The next round of Area Forum meetings are in July and residents are encouraged to come along have a say on local decision-making.
All Area Forum meetings include an open session for members of the public to put questions to councillors and officers on any matter in their area, so why not come along and join in the debate on the following dates and locations:
The Chase – Tuesday 1 July, 7pm, Council Chamber, Civic Centre, Kingswood.
Severn Vale – Wednesday 2 July, 7pm, Turnberries Community Centre, Thornbury.
Kings Forest – Monday 7 July, 7pm, Council Chamber, Civic Centre, Kingswood.
Frome Vale – Thursday 10 July, 7pm, Shireway Community Association, Yate.
Southern Brooks – Tuesday 15 July, 7pm, Shield Road Primary School, Filton.
On the agenda for this round of meetings there will be a presentation about our current consultation on community composting sites, community grant applications, Positive Activities Subsidy Grant applications, updates on the New Homes Bonus scheme and progress reports on the Local Transport Capital Programme schemes.
