South Gloucestershire’s libraries have a range of fun activities planned to help keep children entertained over the October school holidays including story times, rhyme times and crafts.

All activities are free drop-ins for 4 to 11-year-olds unless otherwise stated.

Thursday 22 October
Autumn antics
Hanham Library, 2pm to 3pm
Autumn themed craft activities.

Friday 23 October
Family fun session
Thornbury Library, 11am to 12pm
Stories, rhymes and crafts for all the family.

Saturday 24 October
Take a closer look at bats
Kingswood Library, 2.15pm to 3.15pm
A talk by the Avon Bat Group. Free event but places are limited – contact Kingswood Library to book.

Join Winnie and Wilbur on a magical literacy journey. Have fun with a basic introduction to comprehension, description and characters in these free workshops run by Explore Learning.
