Ann Cleeves is an award winning British author and is behind the hugely popular TV series Shetland and Vera. Ann is visiting Yate to talk and answer questions about her writing which is described as psychological crime novel meets the old-fashioned ‘whodunit’ with superb characterisations.
Her powerful Shetland based mystery series is returning to TV with the adaptation of three more of her Shetland novels featuring the intriguing Detective Jimmy Perez, whilst Detective Inspector Vera Stanhope remains a firm favourite with readers and viewers alike.
