We are consulting on pharmaceutical service needs in the area and residents are invited to have their say.

Anyone who uses local pharmaceutical services is encouraged to comment on a draft Pharmaceutical Needs Assessment (PNA) by completing an online survey. We want to make sure that you can access pharmaceutical services easily and that you are happy with the service you receive.

We would like to hear what you think of the current pharmaceutical services available in your local area. These include local pharmacy or chemist shops, pharmacy services in supermarkets, GP practices that dispense medicines for their patients and online pharmacies. Local pharmacies also provide healthcare help and advice and are often the first point of contact when people are concerned about their health.

We welcome your views and opinions, which are vital in helping us ensure that we continue to deliver good quality, cost-effective pharmacy services to residents. Your views will help us to develop a Pharmaceutical Needs Assessment (PNA), which will look at the need for pharmacy services in the area, the level and accessibility of pharmacy services and how these will be maintained and developed in the future.

The consultation is open from 7 September to 14 November.

We look forward to hearing your views.
