The next round of Area Forum meetings are in September and residents are encouraged to come along to have a say on local decision-making.

All Area Forum meetings include an open session for members of the public to put questions to councillors and officers on any matter in their area, so why not come along and join in the debate on the following dates and locations:

Southern Brooks – Tuesday 2 September, 7pm, Patchway Community School
The Chase – Monday 8 September, 7pm, Council Chamber, Civic Centre, Kingswood
Severn Vale – Wednesday 10 September, 7pm, Turnberries Community Centre, Thornbury
Kings Forest – Monday 15 September, 7pm, Council Chamber, Civic Centre, Kingswood
Frome Vale – Thursday 18 September, 7pm, Chipping Sodbury Town Hall.

On the agenda for this round of meetings will be a presentation by BT who will be updating residents on broadband in the area, plus decisions on community grant applications and Positive Activities Subsidy grant applications.

The Southern Brooks and Frome Vale meetings will additionally receive a presentation from Network Rail regarding the Great Western Electrification Programme and bridge works.
