Plans to develop the former Filton Airfield site were approved at a meeting of South Gloucestershire Council’s DC West Planning Committee today (Thursday 4 June).
The development is a mix of employment land, provision for up to 2,675 homes and it will also provide two primary schools and one secondary school, based around a central hub close to nurseries, health, sports and other community facilities.
It is a key component of the wider Cribbs Patchway New Neighbourhood scheme.
