The awards are a chance for architects, building contractors and building surveyors to showcase the best building projects in South Gloucestershire. To be eligible to enter, you need to submit nominations to the council’s building control team for projects completed over the last year/due to be completed by February 2013.
So whether it’s a small single storey extension to a multi-million pound development, there are a range of categories for different types of building project. Previous winners have included the Armadillo Youth Café and venue in Yate which won best community building.
LABC is an organisation that works with local authorities to encourage excellence in technical innovation, sustainability and high standards in the construction industry.
