Highlights include a chance to get creative with musical instruments in a series of workshops by live musicians Poco Drom, and an opportunity to explore the deliciously gruesome characters in Roald Dahl’s ‘Revolting Rhymes’ at a series of creative writing workshops.
There are also stories and sing-alongs for younger children.
All events are free unless otherwise stated.
Poco Drom workshops
Free workshop for children aged 4 to 11-years-old. A musical safari into the wild and wonderful world of Poco Drom, where young people can join in with original songs, poems and stories about animals by singing, clapping, jumping around and playing the percussion instruments provided. Places are limited, please contact your library on 01454 868006 to book.

Roald Dahl’s Revolting Rhymes
Free creative writing workshops presented by Explore Learning which are based on Roald Dahl’s characters in his ‘Revolting Rhymes’ poems. Suitable for children aged 4 to 11-years-old. Places are limited, please contact your local library on 01454 868006 to book a space.
