Chance to have your say at Area Forums

This round of forums includes items on schemes to be funded under the Local Transport Capital Programme, the allocation of small grants, an overview on localism and an open session where members of the public can ask a question to officers and councillors.

Each Area Forum will receive an extra £50,000 to fund local transport priorities as part of the 2012/13 capital programme. And there is also extra funding available for small grants so we would encourage people to go along and have their say on the issues which matter to them.

The forums take place on the following dates:

  • Severnvale Area Forum, Wednesday 7 March, 7pm at Thornbury Council Office, Castle Street, Thornbury
  • Frome Vale Area Forum, Thursday 8 March, 7pm at Chipping Sodbury Town hall, Broad Street, Chipping Sodbury
  • Kings Forest Area Forum, Monday 12 March, 7pm at Kingswood Civic Centre
  • Southern Brooks Area Forum, Tuesday 13 March, 7pm at the Greenfield Centre, Park Avenue, Winterbourne, BS36 1NJ
  • Chase Area Forum, Wednesday 14 March, 7pm at Kingswood Civic Centre
