Due to essential maintenance some of our online services will be unavailable on Thursday 21 March from 5pm to 7pm.

We have the following strategies and policies relating to health.

Alcohol and drugs

Our alcohol and drugs strategies complement each other and, where appropriate, work towards the same outcomes. We will measure and record how and if we meet these outcomes in the same way for each strategy.

All age learning disability

The All Age Learning Disability Strategy sets out our vision and priorities for people of any age with a learning disability in South Gloucestershire from April 2022 to March 2027.

The strategy been developed with the Learning Difficulties Partnership Board. It includes input from parents and carers, providers, practitioners, commissioners, schools, and adults and young people with learning disabilities.

Health and wellbeing

Our Joint Health and Wellbeing Strategy 2021 to 2025 sets out the priorities for improving the health and wellbeing of the local population and how identified needs will be addressed. This includes addressing health inequalities.

The strategic objectives are underpinned by information gathered through the Joint Strategic Needs Assessment (JSNA) found on our Population Health Intelligence Portal.

This provides data and intelligence on the population of South Gloucestershire. It enables anyone working in health, social care, education or other public services to make evidence-informed decisions about service delivery, strategy and commissioning.

The Joint Health and Wellbeing Strategy is developed and owned by the South Gloucestershire Health and Wellbeing Board
