Climate emergency community engagement

South Gloucestershire has a strong network of groups taking action on the climate and nature emergency. To tackle this emergency however we need everyone within our community not only to get involved on a personal level, but also on a community level.

South Gloucestershire Climate Emergency Community Engagement Group

CVS South Gloucestershire and the council are jointly coordinating community engagement events, working with groups as well as individuals and businesses across the district to scale up action in our area.  This group meets to discuss how to work together and scale up our area wide response to the climate emergency. A steering group consisting of members from different communities and organisations help to shape the group’s agenda.

To find out how to get involved, attend these monthly meetings and join our mailing list email EnvironmentalPolicy@southglos.gov.uk
