Please find below a list of civic engagements to be carried out by the Chair of South Gloucestershire Council Cllr Erica Williams or Vice Chair Cllr Katherine Morris.

Saturday 9 April, 1pm
Chair to attend South West Winterguard Academy community showcase at Thornbury Leisure Centre, Alveston Hill, Thornbury. The aim of the local youth group’s event is to demonstrate the diverse range of sport, dance and arts activities available to people of all ages and abilities in South Gloucestershire.

Wednesday 13 April, 10.30am
Chair to attend opening of World War 1 exhibition at Emersons Green Library, Emersons Way, South Gloucestershire. The exhibition shows the impact of the war in South Gloucestershire and will remain at Emersons Green Library until 2 May before moving on to the other libraries in the district.

Thursday 14 April, 11am
Chair and Vice Chair to attend visit to Wild Place Project, Blackhorse Hill, South Gloucestershire. The Wild Place Project is a family attraction that provides outdoor adventure, play and learning and is one of Cllr Williams’ chosen charities during her term as Chair.

Saturday 23 April, 7.30pm
Chair to attend St George’s Day Service at Gloucester Cathedral, College Green, Gloucester.

Monday 25 April, 9am
Chair to attend story session and update on progress of ‘Bear’s Reading Adventure’ at Cadbury Heath Library, School Road, Cadbury Heath. Bear’s Reading Adventure is a sticker storybook for families with children aged under 5-years-old which aims to encourage families to visit the library regularly and read together every day.

Wednesday 27 April, 11.30am
Chair and Vice Chair to attend Cadets in the Community with Wessex Reserve Forces at Manor by the Lake, Hatherley Lane, Cheltenham.
