Filton Avenue feasibility study

An independent study was undertaken to assess the feasibility of changing the turning movements at the junction of Filton Avenue and Station Road, to help improve traffic flow.

The study also looked into the feasibility of improving pedestrian and cycling facilities at the junction. There were five options considered and the report concluded that introducing additional turning movements was not viable. However, introducing a pedestrian and cycling crossing would be feasible as long as funding streams were available to conduct this work.

The full study and analysis of the five options considered is available in the download section.
