Job fairs and advice

We are working with the Department for Work & Pensions (DWP) to host the following job fairs and advice days:

  • Wednesday 1 May 2019 @ Yate Library, 10am – 2pm
  • Wednesday 29 May 2019 @ Kingswood Job Centre, 10am – 2pm
  • Wednesday 17 April 2019 @ Horfield Job Centre, 10am – 2pm
  • Wednesday 18 September 2019 @ Horfield Job Centre, 10am – 2pm

These job fairs and advice days provide a great opportunity to meet with a variety of employers and to discuss face to face the current vacancies available to you, as well as apprenticeships, and up and coming employment and development opportunities.

Business industries that will be in attendance at these job fair and advice day will include catering, construction and retail sectors including, The Range (home, garden and leisure retail chain), Royal Mail, Marks and Spencer’s and Aldi supermarket. Companies on the day will be offering a range of full and part-time, temporary and permanent vacancies for you to take advantage of.

In addition, there will be beneficial advice and information available to you, including tips for effective CV writing and guidance on accessing training.

If you’re looking for a part time job over the summer or Christmas period, a new career, job interview skills to help you reach your perfect job, then attend your nearest job fair and advice day.
