Respite care

Advice and support for adult carers who care for the elderly, adults with physical or sensory impairments and adults with learning difficulties.

A carer is someone who helps to look after a friend, relative or neighbour who for a number of possible reasons cannot manage at home without them.

To use our services, the cared for person needs to have an assessment of their needs by contacting the customer service desk (see contact details on the right of this page) or by calling on 01454 868007. The carer needs to contact the Carers Support Centre on 0117 965 2200 to request a carer’s assessment. This is to find out what needs you have and what services would best meet those needs, which your assessor will discuss with you. There may be a charge for our services.
