Memory cafés

Please note that the following Memory Cafes that are run by the Alzheimers Society are operating on an online basis:  Filton, Winterbourne, Yate, Emersons Green and Longwell Green.

The Cafe is open from 1.30pm until 2.30pm on alternating Thursdays. Please come along and join us. It is open to people of all ages with dementia and their carers. Please contact David Stone on 07544 764 929 or david.stone@alzheimers.org.uk for more information

Memory cafés offer a friendly welcome for anyone affected by dementia, or worried about their or someone else’s memory. They provide practical information and support, as well as the opportunity for people to ask questions and to listen to others’ experience. They also provide an informal and social environment in which to learn new skills, enjoy activities, listen to guest speakers and make new friends.

There are several memory cafes in South Gloucestershire, some are operated by Alzheimer’s Society and some are run by community volunteers and each has a different style.  Please contact individual cafes for opening times:
