Public consultation about schools SEND budget for 2019/20

A public consultation about proposals for setting the South Gloucestershire Council Schools Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) budget for 2019/20 is running from 1 October to 25 November 2018. The consultation papers available on our consultation site give details of the proposed options and explain how you can provide your views. The papers are available at:

One of the ways you can provide your feedback is by attending one of three public events. Please book your place via the online booking (Eventbrite).

At each of the events, council officers will be available to:

  • talk you through the three proposed options;
  • ask for your views for inclusion in the consultation feedback which will be considered by Councillors prior to decision making; and
  • answer any questions you may have.

The South Gloucestershire Parents and Carers Forum have also kindly arranged some consultation events focused for parents and carers of children and young people with SEND.  Please refer to their website  for details of how you can register your interest in attending one of these events.
