Business continuity advice

Guidance on how South Gloucestershire Council can help your business prepare for emergencies

Business continuity is the process of identifying those critical services that have to correctly function in order for the business to continue successfully. It seeks to identify actions that can be implemented by the business to minimise the impact on these critical services, should an emergency or major incident occur e.g severe weather, pandemic flu.

Our emergency planning team can help you prepare plans to ensure that your business could cope with a range of emergencies such as, flooding or disruption caused by fuel shortages or pandemic outbreaks.

We have established a Business Resilience Partnership for South Gloucestershire businesses in which businesses can share BCM knowledge, advice and learning.  To find out more please contact the emergency planning unit on 01454 868009.
