Food safety - barbecues

If you are planning a barbecue, keep food safe with our food safety tips.

Which are;

  • always make sure you cook meat until it is piping hot and the juices run clear. The meat should not be pink
  • if you are barbecuing for lots of people, cook meat indoors and then finish cooking on the barbecue
  • if you are reheating food on the barbecue, make sure it is piping hot and cooked all the way through
