Visiting Grimsbury farm

Advice and guidance for when you visit

When you visit the farm:

  • do not feed or touch the animals
  • wash your hands frequently or use hand sanitiser
  • when ordering in the café we request you wear a face covering to help protect staff
With some extra activities on the farm we can only accept cash payments.

There is no smoking allowed anywhere on site including the car park.

How to find us

Grimsbury Road, near Baden Road, Kingswood, Bristol BS15 9SE.

From Kingswood, take the A420 Bristol – Chippenham Road. Turn onto the Avon Ring Road towards Bath/Brislington. At the first roundabout turn right up the hill. Turn right at the mini-roundabout, and Grimsbury Farm is on the right.

Parking

Parking is limited, as we are a very small site, so if the car park is full be prepared to return when we are less busy. If you choose to park out on the neighbouring residential roads, be respectful of our neighbours and do not block access drives, footways, or create pinch points that would make it difficult for larger vehicles or emergency services to get by.

Our gates open to the public at 9am.

Opening hours

Our opening hours are:

  • Winter (1 November to 31 March): Monday to Sunday 9am to 4pm
  • Summer (1 April to 31 October): Monday to Sunday 9am to 5pm

The main farm is closed on Mondays, but the café, playpark and duck pond are open.

The whole farm is open on the May and August bank holidays.

The farm usually closes between Christmas and New Year. The dates may vary each year so call the farm before heading over.

We are sorry but we do not allow dogs, except assistance dogs.

Due to health and safety risks on the farm smoking and the use of vapes on the farm is not allowed anywhere at anytime.
