Tree Asset Management Plan

South Gloucestershire Council looks after thousands of trees growing on our highway verges, in our parks, open spaces and woodlands.

We are responsible for some trees owned by others which are protected, affected by development or pose a danger to the public.

Use our Tree Asset Management Plan to find out about

  • our responsibilities
  • regular inspection programmes
  • guidance around requests to remove or prune trees

Information on common requests to remove or prune trees is included in the plan so please check the document before contacting us.
