Evacuation Procedure

The Chair will draw attention to the emergency evacuation procedure as set out below:-

 

If the fire alarm siren sounds, leave the chamber via the entrance lobby, go down the staircase and assemble in the car park behind the Council Offices.  If that staircase is unusable, use the fire escape staircase in the Council Chamber itself.  Do not run or use the lifts.  If you have mobility problems tell the Democratic Services Officer who will assist you.

To receive apologies for absence from Councillors.

Declarations of Interest Under the Local Government Act 1972

Members who consider that they have an interest to declare are asked to: a) State the item number in which they have an interest, b) The nature of the interest, c) Whether the interest is a disclosable pecuniary interest, non-disclosable pecuniary interest or non-pecuniary interest. Any Member who is unsure about the above should seek advice from the Monitoring Officer prior to the meeting in order to expedite matters at the meeting itself.

Items from the Public - In relation to the single agenda item

Any resident of South Gloucestershire or person affected by any decision to be taken by the Council, may address this meeting (for no more than 5 minutes) to present a petition, make a statement, contribute views on matters under discussion or ask a question. No prior notice is needed except for questions which should be submitted one clear day in advance.

To determine if Council will uphold the decision made by the Children and Young People Committee on the 25 July 2012 in respect of the Transformation Review Programme: Integrated Services for Young People
