Children’s social care complaints

The statutory complaints procedures for children’s social care is a three stage procedure and you can find out more about how the process works from the ‘Downloads’ section on this page.

You can have support to make your complaint from a relative, friend or advocate. Children and young people involved with social services have access to a specialist advocacy service provided by Reconstruct.

You can find out more by reading our factsheet Your Feedback Counts, which includes a copy of our feedback form.

If you wish to talk with us about your complaint then you can phone the complaints and FoI team on 01454 865924 or you can email us at CAHFeedback@southglos.gov.uk

If you have exhausted this complaints procedure then you can approach the local government ombudsman.
