Housing Renewal Assistance is available to carry out essential repairs and improvements to homes.

South Gloucestershire Council work in partnership with not for profit lender Lendology CIC (previously named Wessex Resolutions CIC) to provide eligible homeowners with council subsidised loans for essential home repairs. There are a variety of loan products available to meet individual needs and means and a range of works are covered under the scheme.

Works covered include:  Rotten windows, no heating or broken boiler, damp problems, leaky roof, structural issues, electrical and plumbing faults, obsolete bathroom and kitchen facilities; Energy efficiency improvements (where grants are not available through Warm & Well) or for alternative energy technology; Bringing void or empty properties back into use; Gypsy and Travellers for works such as installing electricity, installing water supply, creating additional pitches on existing authorised sites and provision of facility blocks.
