Arts funding and resources
Fundraising is usually one of the first jobs for anyone setting up an arts project. One of the key tasks when fundraising is to identify potential funders who will support your particular project.
Funders have their own criteria for supporting projects and it is essential that you look at these closely to ensure that you do meet the appropriate criteria. Possible sources of funding for arts projects include:
- Member Awarded Funding and Area Wide Grants
- Arts Council England
- Lottery schemes such as the National Foundation for Youth Music and Awards for All
- trusts and charities
- local businesses
