British Sign Language

A range of basic information on our services is now available in British Sign Language. We have worked together with the South Gloucestershire British Sign Language (BSL) Forum to get some key information on our council services translated into BSL and made available on this website via our Youtube channel. There are also two BSL videos below provided by Sign it Hear CIC on how to vote and registering to vote. The subjects have been chosen by the BSL Forum as the main services that Deaf people need information about.

Deaf people have the right to ask for interpreters for face to face meetings.
