Rehoming a dog

If you are interested in rehoming a dog, please contact us or register your interest on-line.

We will try to find new homes for dogs that are not claimed from the kennels. Wherever possible dogs will be placed with rescue and re-homing charities so they can be neutered, vaccinated and fully assessed before going to their new home.

If you are interested in re-homing a dog, please contact us. Your details will be filed and you will be contacted when we become aware of a suitable dog for re-homing.  Volunteers from the Friends of South Glos Strays assist with re-homing, so please be aware that your contact details may be passed to this group.

In order to re-home a dog, a home check will be carried out and you must have a secure garden.

There are also several rescue centres in the area that you can contact. Please see their websites for more details.
