Advice agencies and Welfare Advice Partnership

South Gloucestershire advice agencies

We work in partnership with various welfare advice providers in the area to ensure that various forms of advice are offered and information is shared with our residents.

Financial inclusion (welfare benefit and debt) service

We have commissioned the South Gloucestershire Advice Services to provide a general advice service with specialist knowledge in the areas of welfare benefit and debt advice to representation at tribunals and information on services for older people.

This is a partnership between five local voluntary and community sector organisations.

The Welfare Advice Partnerships’ shared purpose is to empower residents to enforce their rights through the provision of free, confidential and independent advice. It also helps partners to be supported, share information and work together to provide an integrated advice service for residents of South Gloucestershire.
