Preliminary Draft Charging Schedule public consultation in accordance with Regulation 15 of the Community Infrastructure Levy Regulations 2010, and initial consultation on a Preliminary Draft Developer’s Guide Supplementary Planning Document in accordance with the Town and Country Planning (Local Planning) (England) Regulations 2012

Legislation was introduced in 2010 that allows local councils to set a Community Infrastructure Levy (CIL). A CIL allows councils to raise funds from developers carrying out building projects in their area, for spending on infrastructure such as new schools, open space or public transport.

The Council is now undertaking public consultation on the following documents:

Marking a consultation as relevant to a particular audience indicates that it may be of special relevance to people within that group. It doesn't, however, mean that other groups wont find the consultation of interest - we welcome responses from everybody.
For example, education issues may be of particular interest to Parents & Guardians, and so will be shown to people searching the system for parenting issues, but the views of others (eg: Business, Faith Groups) are also relevant.
