The temporary traffic measures have been put in place to aid the safety of local residents and road users during the closure of the A431 at Kelston following a major landslip.
Formal traffic diversions are in place to the east and west of the A431 road closure, but we are aware that some commuters are using Upton Cheyney as an alternative through route leading to increased traffic volumes and safety issues for local people.
We urge road users to observe the formal diversions, and to use Marshfield Lane and Brewery Hill for access only.
