The courses are for adults aged 19 and over who have no or few formal qualifications and want to get back into learning.

Courses include improving skills for personal development and supporting family and community life.

Learners can also gain a qualification in English or Maths or join a course to improve their job seeking and workplace skills.

The free courses take place in community settings throughout South Gloucestershire and the prospectus can be collected from any South Gloucestershire Library.

People would like to know more about any of the courses are invited to attend one of the enrolment sessions where staff will be available to discuss the courses and register those interested.

Enrolment sessions are as follows:

Thursday 6 September:

Staple Hill Library (10am-12noon); Yate Library (5pm-7pm)

Monday 10 September:

Cadbury Heath Library (10am-12noon & 5pm-7pm)

Tuesday 11 September:

Yate Library (10am-12noon); Patchway Library (10am-12noon & 5pm-7pm); Staple Hill Library (5pm-7pm)

Wednesday 12 September:

Kingswood Library (10am-12noon)

Thursday 13 September:

Filton Library (10am-12 noon)
