Open Doors Tours at Yate Sort It Centre

If you want to find out about what happens to your waste and recycling, why not sign up to a free tour of Yate Sort It Centre.
South Gloucestershire Council and SITA UK have organised a series of tours to give residents an opportunity to find out about some of the processes involved in recycling, what happens to waste that isn’t recycled, and why we need to waste less and recycle more.
The tours will run from 5.30pm to 7pm at Yate Sort It Centre on the following dates:
Tuesday 4 June
Monday 8 June
Wednesday 17 June
Thursday 23 June.
There are limited spaces available, so book early by emailing streetcare@southglos.gov.uk or telephoning 01454 868000. All children must be accompanied by an adult.
Places must be booked in advance, unfortunately we will not be able to accommodate anyone who turns up on the day.
