The event takes place at South Gloucestershire & Stroud College and will feature a range of performances by students from the South West Academy of Dramatic Arts (SWADA). They will be showcasing a variety of different pieces, such as songs from musical theatre, acting, singing and dancing.

Tickets cost £25 and all proceeds go to the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Southmead Hospital and the Bristol Aero Collection.

Chairman Ian Boulton said: “This event is one of the highlights of the civic year and will be held in aid of two charities that are both very close to my heart. I really hope that plenty of South Gloucestershire residents will feel able to join me at the WISE campus next month to see the talented students from SWADA.”

Fran Hollingworth, Production Manager at SGS College, added: “We are delighted to be joining South Gloucestershire Council in hosting the Chair’s Charity Dinner in our Olympus Theatre. The SWADA students are really looking forward to showcasing their talents in support of such worthwhile local charities and we’re sure it will be a most enjoyable evening for everyone attending.”

Tickets are available by writing to Member Services, South Gloucestershire Council, The Civic Centre, High Street, Kingswood, BS15 9TR, or email member.services@southglos.gov.uk

The event takes place on Friday 15 November at South Gloucestershire & Stroud College, WISE Campus, New Road, Stoke Gifford, BS34 8LP from 7.30pm.
