Friends groups, In bloom and conservation groups
We work closely with community groups which help look after our public open spaces including play areas, formal parks, nature reserves and woodlands.
People from all walks of life regularly give up their time to care for community spaces across South Gloucestershire. In return, volunteering offers many benefits including the chance to meet new people, learn new skills and improve your wellbeing. Many volunteers also find it fun and rewarding.
If you would like to find out more about helping look after your local environment, why not contact your nearest group. To find your local community group, scroll down through the listings below. If you can’t find a group and would like to think about starting one up please contact the Community Spaces Team.
