Latest updates on water disruption due to Willsbridge burst water main.

Open Access

South Gloucestershire libraries are introducing Open Access swipe card technology from 1 October 2017 (it is already available at Bradley Stoke Library).

Now you can enhance your existing Active Leisure and Library membership to use the library for up to an extra 42.5 hrs a week.

This will enable you to make the most of the resources at times that are more convenient to you, when staff are not present but the leisure centre is open. Now you can click and collect your reservations, browse and borrow, make use of the PCs, printing and free WiFi for longer every week.

During Open Access sessions you will be able to:
• scan your Active Leisure and Library card and use your PIN to enter the library
• connect to our free wifi
• use a PC
• print and photocopy items
• access online e-resources
• issue, return, renew items and pay charges using the self-service kiosks
• collect reserved items
• use the library to meet others, read and study
• read books and newspapers

How to register (currently only available at Bradley Stoke Library)
•  Pop into Bradley Stoke Library and ask a member of staff about Open Access membership
•  Bring your Active Leisure and Library card and proof of address (such as a driving licence, recent utility bill, bank or credit card statement)
•  Complete a membership form confirming agreement to our terms and conditions
•  Undertake a short introductory session, which includes how the system works, services available, emergency procedures and how to report faults.

On completion of registration your membership will be updated to enable use of Open Access.
