Animal Agents, Summer Reading Challenge 2017

A HUGE CONGRATULATIONS to the 6,274 children who took part in Animal Agents, Summer Reading Challenge 2017!

“I thought it was a brilliant way to get kids into reading. The way you had to read to solve a mystery was pure genius. It was a fantastic opportunity and great fun.” (Eve, aged 9).

“My son is a reluctant reader, so the prospect of a medal at the end was really motivating for him and helped us to keep him going with reading over the holiday.” (Parent).

Children were challenged to read six library books of their choice over the summer holidays to receive a medal and certificate.

The fun doesn’t stop when the summer holidays end – libraries run free activities for children throughout the year including Chatterbooks reading groups, Lego Clubs and holiday activities, as well as having a fantastic selection of books to read all year round.

Look out for details of how to take part in the Summer Reading Challenge 2018!
