Local Offer – SEND strategy

The consultation on our draft Strategy for Children and Young People 0-25 years with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities 2018-2023 closed on 12 March 2018.

Thank you to everyone who has given up their time and taken part by responding online or attending a consultation event.

We are evaluating the results of the consultation and we will give feedback on the common themes by the end of May.

Your views are being considered as we co-produce the final version of the strategy, which will be approved by the relevant partnerships and boards and published during the summer.

The draft Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) Strategy was co-produced as a result of the collective feedback we received from listening to the views of children, families, schools, settings, colleges and stakeholders at the engagement sessions that ran in June, September and October 2017 in South Gloucestershire. It sets out the vision and strategic priorities for South Gloucestershire Local Area for the period 2018 – 2023.
