Documents to submit with your planning application
Your completed application form must be sent with the correct fee. You must also send plans of the site and your proposals, along with the required supporting information and evidence that will help us understand the work you propose to carry out. You can calculate the correct fee using the calculator on the Planning Portal.
The links below will identify what you will need to submit in support of your planning application
- Nationally set planning application requirements
- Locally set planning application requirements
- Planning application guidance
If you are submitting your application by post you may also send us a letter with details of other information that you think will be important when considering your application. If you are submitting personal (medical) or financial information in support of your application, please indicate clearly at the top of each document whether or not you are prepared for this information to be made publicly available.
Further information and guidance on submitting an application is available on the Planning Portal website.
Use of CD-Rom
While we are willing to consider the submission of applications or supporting information by CD Rom where this will clearly assist in the consultation process or consideration of the application, any submission by CD Rom must be by prior agreement. If agreement has not been sought and given prior to the submission of the application, there is a risk that the application will be returned as invalid.
For major developments including those submitted via the planning portal we may still require paper copies.
