Development Management Circulated Schedule procedure
The Circulated Schedule of proposed decisions is a procedure to ensure that potentially more contentious planning applications are brought to the attention of South Gloucestershire councillors. It provides them with the opportunity to make an informed decision about the most appropriate decision-making route for such applications.
Under this procedure, the planning officer assessment reports for certain types of planning applications are circulated to all South Gloucestershire councillors, once a week. These reports include consideration of the representations which have been received, and a decision is recommended on each proposal. The types of application to appear on the Circulated Schedule are listed in the Council’s Constitution.
Having considered the reports, if there are any applications that councillors feel should be referred to a Planning Committee, they must request this within five working days of the publication of the schedule, in accordance with the member referral procedures.
If no member request for referral is made, the decision notice is issued as a delegated decision in line with the officer recommendation set out in the Circulated Schedule. Is there anything wrong with this page?
