  • Thornbury and Yate Constituency

Each constituency is represented by one Member of Parliament.

A UK parliamentary general election is taking place on 8 June 2017. A statutory timetable providing key election dates is available in the downloads section.

The deadline for registering to vote for the election on 8 June 2017 has now passed.  The deadline for applying for a postal vote or for making changes to an existing postal or proxy vote has also passed.

If you are going to be away on the 8 June 2017 and you do not currently have any other absent voting arrangement in place, you can apply for a proxy vote.  If you wish to apply for a new proxy vote the deadline is 5pm on 31 May 2017.
