Priority neighbourhood profiles

There are six priority neighbourhoods in South Gloucestershire.  These areas were defined using the English Indices of Deprivation as areas where higher numbers of people don’t achieve their full potential, have poorer health outcomes, are employed in less well paid jobs or are unemployed and there are higher levels of crime.

Each year the council produces a profile for each priority neighbourhood which reports on a range of ‘proxy indicators’ of deprivation.  The profiles are available below:
