Description |
The Council’s Environmental Operations Policy, adopted in 2001, sets out the aims and objectives for reducing the Council’s impact on the environment. The third annual progress report describes the progress made in 2004/05. The report outlines performance against targets (Energy, Transport, Waste and Water). Progress is also outlined for the Natural and Built Environment (Tree Planting, Litter, Noise, and Sustainable Construction). Pollution, Purchasing and Investment are also covered.
