South Gloucestershire Education Needs Policy supports the Education Development Plan in developing the potential of all leavers and promoting inclusive education. In relation to children with SEN it sets out the key importance of meeting needs, inclusive education in the mainstream wherever possible, partnership with parents, consulting the views of the child and access to a broad and balanced education, including the Foundation Stage and national Curriculum.
