Description |
The Secretary of State for Education has issued a revised Special Educational Needs Code of Practice (2001). It is a guide to schools, local education authorities, health services and social services. They must all consider what the Code says when they are deciding what they should do for children with Special Educational Needs. The Code says that all agencies should work closely together with parents, to meet children's Special Educational Needs.
