Website performance and statistics

As more people have access to the Internet, either at home, the office, or the local library, South Gloucestershire Council understands that the website is becoming an important channel for information, communication and access to over 700 council services; you can also pay for a number of services on-line.

Consequently we have invested in up-to-date computer hardware, software and systems in order to provide website users with a robust and secure internet experience.

The South Gloucestershire Council internet site contains thousands of pages of information, over 100 electronic forms and thousands of documents - and the website is growing all the time. Our commitment to the public is to maintain a 24x7 service that is available at least 95% of the time (measured on an annual basis). You can see how we are performing by following the performance link in the other websites section.
