The work plan for the project identifies clear areas of delivery under 4 themes which are:

* 'Closer to Nature' - Includes a River Festival, wildlife gardening project, a bat audio trail, youth bat mobile project! and engagement events relating to Biodiversity Action Plan species such as hedgehogs, glow worms, bull finch and song thrush.
* 'Naturally Active' - 'Walk Fit' and 'Walk to Health' programmes for targeted groups, practical conservation workdays, raptor focussed rambles and bike rides, ecoteering trails and work with Play Rangers to support play in the natural environment..
* 'Branching Out' - A Community Woodland Festival, Forest Schools outreach programme, 'canopy capers' tree climbing sessions and bushcraft weekends for targeted groups of young people.
* 'Celebrating Orchards' - Apple days, wassailing, establishment of 5 community orchards and an orchard heritage research project.
