The next Census will take place on 27 March 2011.
Planning and preparations for the 2011 Census are well underway, with a detailed programme being developed to determine what information will be gathered, how it will be captured and processed, and how the results will be produced and delivered.
The council is working with the Office for National Statistics (ONS) in the planning of the next Census. A Census Liaison Manager (CLM) and an Assistant Census Liaison Manager (ACLM) have been nominated by each Local Authority – these will be the main means of communication with ONS.
Recruitment.
